Autumn conference of Unit 7 - Information and Communication Technology

This year's autumn conference of Unit 7 took place on 25 and 26 November 2023 in Frankfurt am Main. In addition to the 21 attendees, participation was also made possible via the Internet.

On both days, the working groups worked on drafts for further information sheets and discussed the results.
An information sheet with selection criteria for possible communication channels in the event of a power failure and the digital exchange of tactical signs will be available for the upcoming meeting of the vfdb's Technical and Scientific Advisory Board. The technical implementation of the digitalisation of fire service plans was also the subject of the work. The expansion of the offering on the NPGEOHub geodata platform was discussed.

In addition to the technical work, the chairman and his deputies were also newly elected.

Sven Dunkel from Frankfurt Fire Brigade was confirmed as Chairman of Unit 7. Bastian Fischer from Hamburg Fire Brigade and Holger Ziehm from THW were re-elected as representatives.
